Work with the Project Manager and discipline leads to define ballpark budgets, timelines, resource needs, feasibility, and dependencies, then present the proposal, trade-offs, and recommendations to client-facing and business stakeholders.

Once approved, guide the high-level GDD and creative vision across the core loop, features, content, player experience, and visual direction, turning business needs into clear briefs and production priorities.

Facilitate design and art reviews, providing constructive, actionable feedback on game design, UX, art direction and content quality.

Partner with the Project Manager on release plans, milestones, review gates, and scope decisions, resolving issues early and balancing creative ambition with delivery constraints.

Maintain alignment between business stakeholders and the delivery team throughout development, communicating decisions, progress, and required trade-offs clearly.

Requirements

Around five years of experience in game design, creative production, game production, or a comparable role with meaningful ownership of gameplay and creative quality.

A strong hands-on game design background and the ability to shape core loops, systems, features, progression, content, and the overall player experience, supported by experience creating or reviewing high-level GDDs and creative briefs.

Strong visual judgment and the ability to review art direction, UI/UX, concepts, and production assets and provide constructive, actionable feedback.

Practical knowledge of game development across Design, Art, Tech, QA, and Production, with the ability to assess feasibility and release needs with the relevant leads.

Experience communicating with clients, partners, or business stakeholders and translating commercial objectives into an executable product direction.

Strong facilitation, decision-making, organization, documentation, and communication skills, with professional proficiency in English and the ability to work autonomously across functions alongside an established Project Manager.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with mobile, web, free-to-play, casual, or hybrid game development and end-to-end release planning.

Familiarity with prototyping, market and competitor research, and AI-assisted tools for ideation, visual references, documentation, or production support.
