Hiring for our seasonal positions occurs on a rolling basis. Applications will be accepted until December 15th or until the positions are filled (whichever is first).
Job Summary:
As a Remote Travel Consultant, you will be assisting guests interested in booking an Epic vacation at one of our renowned resorts. This is an inbound call center (no cold calling) position focused on vacation package sales. The Travel Consultant role serves as a knowledgeable and trusted resource, guiding guests through the booking process and ensuring a seamless, high quality experience.
Job Specifications:

Starting Wage: $20/hr

Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027

Shift Type: Full Time hours available

Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age

Housing Availability: No

Job Responsibilities:

Assist guests with booking vacation packages, including lodging accommodations and mountain products

Provide clear, accurate and timely information regarding resort offerings, pricing, availability and policies

Deliver personalized recommendations to enhance the guest booking experience

Maintain strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all bookings

Document all guest interactions accurately within internal systems

Collaborate with guests and colleagues in multiple time zones

Requirements:

Minimum 6 months of Sales and Service experience

Demonstrated ability to work within multiple systems simultaneously, including navigating between platforms and screens, accurately entering data while communicating and resolving basic technical issues

Strong communication and active listening skills, with the ability to speak, read and write fluently in English to build and maintain positive guest relationships

Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Vacation planning experience is a plus

Prior experience working in a remote environment is preferred

Experience with online or virtual training, including self-paced modules and/or virtual classroom courses

Associate or bachelor’s degree

High-speed internet connection (50mbps upload/download, wired connection)

Dedicated home office space free from background noise and distractions

Must live within a state or territory with which Vail Resorts operates in:
Canada - British Columbia

US - California, Colorado, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New York, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Utah, Vermont, Washington State, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $20/hr, plus monthly bonus opportunities for top performers. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
