About Priority Commerce:
Priority Commerce is a leading financial technology company on a mission to deliver a personalized, easy-to-adopt financial toolset that accelerates cash flow and optimizes working capital for businesses. We achieve this through the Priority Commerce Engine, an innovative platform that combines payables, acquiring, and banking and treasury solutions. This unified approach allows businesses to streamline financial operations, reduce unnecessary costs, and uncover new revenue opportunities.
At Priority Commerce, we're driven by results. We expect our people tobe known for results- bringing expertise, momentum, and relentless focus to every challenge, helping our clients and each other thrive.
About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager, Strategic Solutions to shape differentiated financial products and experiences for complex customer and market needs. This is a hands-on role for someone who can take ambiguous market and customer problems, understand the workflows behind them, and turn them into clear product propositions, requirements, and roadmaps. You will work across a mix of established business opportunities and earlier-stage product ideas. In some cases, you will partner closely with executive sponsors and domain leaders who bring deep market and customer expertise. In others, you will lead discovery directly, develop the product thesis, validate customer problems and workflows, and build an evidence-based recommendation for continued investment. You will work across payments, banking, treasury, financial operations, and digital experiences, partnering closely with customers, Product, Engineering, Design, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and go-to-market teams. The ideal candidate combines strong customer discovery skills, financial-services experience, commercial judgment, and the ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives from ambiguity through launch.
Domain Areas You'll Own
This role spans a broad set of solution product responsibilities. We’re looking for someone with hands-on experience across most of the following, and the appetite to go deep on the rest:

Strategic Product Development: Shape product propositions and roadmaps for complex customer and market opportunities.

Customer and Market Discovery: Understand workflows, pain points, economics, and market dynamics through direct discovery.

Executive and Business Partnership: Partner with executive sponsors and domain leaders to translate market and commercial priorities into product direction.

New Opportunity Incubation: Develop and test product theses, validate market needs, and make evidence-based recommendations for continued investment.

Solution Launch and Growth: Bring together the product requirements and cross-functional readiness needed to launch, learn, and expand successful solutions.

Responsibilities:

Define and evolve product strategy and multi-quarter roadmaps for assigned strategic solutions, tied to measurable customer and business outcomes.

Lead customer and market discovery to understand complex workflows, pain points, market dynamics, and unmet needs.

Partner directly with executive sponsors and domain leaders to shape product priorities and roadmap recommendations.

For earlier-stage opportunities, develop the product thesis, identify target customers, validate workflows and pain points, and make evidence-based recommendations for continued investment.

Translate market strategy and customer insight into clear product propositions, workflows, requirements, and measurable outcomes.

Distinguish one-off customer requests from repeatable market needs and shape solutions that can scale across customers.

Define the end-to-end solution proposition and capability requirements, partnering with Product, Engineering, Design, and Architecture teams to deliver it.

Prioritize within the roadmap based on customer value, market potential, strategic fit, commercial impact, scalability, and delivery complexity.

Partner with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations, Sales, and go-to-market teams to ensure solutions are ready to launch and meet financial-product requirements.

Stay hands-on through execution, using AI and modern Product tools to accelerate discovery synthesis, requirements, stories, workflows, acceptance criteria, and documentation, and working closely with Engineering and Program or Project Management through delivery.

Define and track customer, product, and commercial outcomes and use market feedback to guide iteration and expansion.

Communicate customer insights, product strategy, priorities, dependencies, and trade-offs clearly to business leaders, Product teams, and executives.

What Success Looks Like:

First 90 days: You understand Priority’s major financial capabilities, active customer and market opportunities, current priorities, and key business partners, and have developed a clear point of view on your assigned opportunities and their product potential.

6 months: The highest-priority opportunities have clear product propositions and roadmaps, executive sponsors are aligned on priorities, earlier-stage product theses are being tested with evidence, and customer needs are being translated into scalable product requirements.

12 months: Assigned strategic solutions have progressed from validated customer problems to scalable product propositions with measurable customer and commercial value, and successful patterns are expanding across additional customers and market opportunities.

Candidate Requirements:

Roughly 7 to 10 years of relevant Product Management experience, including ownership of complex B2B, fintech, banking, payments, or industry-focused products. This is a guide, not a gate. We hire on demonstrated impact.

Strong banking, payments, fintech, or financial-services experience, with practical understanding of money movement, accounts, treasury, and financial operations.

Demonstrated experience translating ambiguous customer or market problems into clear product propositions and roadmaps.

Strong customer discovery skills and the ability to understand complex workflows, users, operating models, and business economics.

Experience with both customer-led product development and zero-to-one discovery, including evaluating new market opportunities.

Experience partnering directly with executives, business-unit leaders, or general managers while maintaining independent Product judgment.

Strong commercial awareness and the ability to distinguish repeatable market opportunities from one-off customer requests.

Experience independently leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in matrixed environments without direct authority.

Strong roadmap, prioritization, communication, and executive stakeholder-management skills.

Fluency with AI-assisted Product workflows and a hands-on approach to requirements, stories, workflows, acceptance criteria, analysis, and documentation when needed.

Nice to Have

Experience building products for industries or customer segments with complex financial, operational, or multi-party workflows.

Experience with banking-as-a-service, embedded finance, treasury, virtual accounts, payments, reconciliation, or financial operations.

Experience working directly with enterprise customers or strategic partners during product discovery and implementation.

Experience developing product positioning, packaging, or go-to-market strategies for B2B products.

Experience launching a product with an initial customer or partner and expanding it to a broader market.

Experience working in regulated financial environments.
