About the role

1KOMMA5°

At 1KOMMA5°, we pursue a clear vision: Living on wind and sunlight forever for free. To make this a reality, we are building the energy system of the future with Heartbeat AI. Want to be part of it?

We bring together regional craftsmanship and scalable software: We don't think of solar, batteries, heat pumps, and e-mobility as isolated components, but control them as an intelligent, integrated overall system in our virtual power plant. Directly connected to the electricity market – in real time, fully automated. This way, energy is used when it is available from renewables and particularly cost-effective. By 2030, our goal is to transition 1.5 million households to renewable energies. Over 3,000 people are working towards this every day, at more than 80 locations worldwide, from Finland to Australia.

Want to take responsibility and build solutions that truly matter? Apply now and help us shape the energy world of tomorrow.

Deine Position

Heartbeat AI is our energy optimisation platform that always provides our customers with the cleanest and cheapest energy. As a Working Student on the Go-to-Market team, you support our team in optimising the performance, positioning, and monetisation of Heartbeat AI across our markets. You'll work on projects that span multiple countries rather than being tied to a single one, giving you a broad view of how GTM strategy adapts (and doesn't) from market to market. You will support initiatives end-to-end and get hands-on exposure to how mature and growing markets are actually scaled, and your research and analysis will directly feed decisions that go to Product, Sales, and Marketing.

You support Heartbeat AI GTM efforts across multiple markets by pulling, structuring, and sanity-checking performance data across pricing, packaging, and positioning initiatives.

You help prepare pricing and packaging analyses across markets, flagging patterns, gaps, or differences.

You assist in researching new positioning angles, competitor moves, and market trends, turning them into short, usable summaries that can be compared across countries.

You build a foundational understanding of Heartbeat AI's unit economics by supporting the data work behind monetisation decisions in different markets.

You coordinate logistics and follow-ups with Product, Tech, Marketing, and Sales stakeholders across regions, and join relevant syncs to learn how those conversations happen.

You help maintain performance dashboards and trackers spanning multiple markets, keeping data current so the team can spot underperformance quickly, wherever it shows up.

You take ownership of clearly scoped tasks and small projects end to end, checking in proactively when priorities are unclear.

You report into the Go-to-Market Director but work closely with all the Go-to-Market team members across the globe.

Dein Profil

You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme, ideally in Business, Energy Economics or a related field, and can work around 15 to 20 hours per week alongside your studies.

You are curious about GTM, pricing, or product strategy and want to learn how monetisation decisions get made differently across markets in a scaling tech company.

You are structured and reliable: you follow through on tasks without being chased and flag early when something's blocked, even when juggling requests from more than one market team.

You are comfortable working with spreadsheets and data, and you're keen to build a genuine feel for numbers and unit economics rather than just running through checklists.

You communicate clearly and aren't afraid to ask questions or push back when something doesn't add up, even when talking to more senior stakeholders.

You are a fast learner who's comfortable picking up new tools and adapting to a fast-changing environment, and to working with different teams and cultures across markets.

You are fluent in English (C1/C2), written and verbal; additional European languages (German, Italian, Spanish, or others relevant to our markets) are a plus.

Prior exposure to the energy market or a tech/startup environment is a plus, but not a must.
