Job Description

The Workday Systems Analyst VDNLY serves as the system owner and primary configurator for the VNDLY Vendor Management System (VMS). This role is responsible for the ongoing configuration, maintenance, and functional support of VNDLY to ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient management of the organization’s contingent workforce and vendor relationships.
As the primary owner of VNDLY configuration, this role translates business requirements from HR, Talent Acquisition, Procurement, Finance, and operational leaders into scalable system solutions. The Analyst plays a key role in system stability, vendor compliance, process optimization, and user adoption across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:

Configure and administer the VNDLY VMS, including job templates, rate structures, approval workflows, vendor rules, compliance requirements, and onboarding/offboarding processes.

Maintain business rules, approvals, validations, and security roles supporting the contingent workforce lifecycle.

Support integrations between VNDLY and core HR, payroll, finance, and identity systems.

Maintain configuration documentation and support change control and governance processes.

Provide functional support for VNDLY service requests and incidents from HR, Talent Acquisition, Procurement, Finance, and operations teams.

Research, diagnose, and resolve system issues related to contingent labor requests, worker onboarding, vendor invoicing, time capture, and compliance.

Support testing and validation of VNDLY updates and enhancements; communicate changes and impacts to stakeholders.

Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, Procurement, Finance, and Legal to support effective contingent workforce and vendor management processes.

Assist with vendor onboarding, configuration standards, and ongoing vendor support within VNDLY.

Ensure system configuration supports audit, reporting, and compliance requirements related to contingent labor.

Collaborate with IT on integrations, data governance, and security reviews.

Participate in HRIS and workforce governance discussions related to contingent labor systems.

Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reporting, and system usability through VNDLY functionality.

Develop user guides and provide training support for managers and HR partners using the VNDLY platform.

Required Qualifications:

Experience supporting or administering a Vendor Management System (VMS) (VNDLY preferred).

Experience configuring workflows, approvals, and business rules within an HR, workforce, or procurement system.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

3–5 years of experience supporting vendor management, contingent workforce systems, HRIS, or procurement platforms.

Experience working with system integrations and vendor or workforce data.

Understanding of contingent labor models, vendor engagement, and compliance considerations.

Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or regulated environments
