JOB TITLE: Cloud Solutions Architect (AI Focus)

POSITION INFORMATION: Full time
LOCATION: Remote
POSITION TIMING: Candidate must obtain a DHS Public Trust clearance, which typically takes 4 to 6+ weeks to process. Clearance must be fully granted before starting on the program.

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect with expertise in Azure and/or AWS to support the DHS ICE OSDSS program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure design, AI integration, and SecDevOps environments, acting as a trusted advisor to both development teams and the client.
Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and implement secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure in AWS/Azure to support development teams.
Architect and optimize overall cloud environments, ensuring compliance, performance, and long-term sustainability.
Provide expert-level guidance for the integration and deployment of AI solutions in cloud environments.
Lead efforts to integrate and migrate new tools, platforms, and services into existing SecDevOps pipelines.
Optimize cloud spend, including VM burn time, right-sizing resources, and eliminating unused VMs.
Deliver third-tier support for outages and complex system issues.
Act as a strategic advisor to both the client and development teams regarding cloud services, integration timelines, and product roadmaps.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
Proven experience as a Cloud Architect/Solutions Architect in AWS, Azure, or both; strong preference towards Azure
Hands-on experience designing and supporting AI/ML solutions in the cloud.
Strong background in SecDevOps and/or CI/CD integration within cloud environments.
Expertise in cloud cost optimization and performance tuning.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to advise technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust clearance.
DESIRED:
Cloud certifications, strongly preferred
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This role is performed in a remote work environment. The employee must have a suitable home office setup with reliable internet access to perform job duties effectively. The position is largely sedentary and requires the ability to operate a computer, keyboard, and other standard office equipment for extended periods of time.
